Pixso's New Seat Model & AI Capabilities

Thank you for your continued trust and support in Pixso. We are committed to providing you with a stable, reliable service and continuously improving your product experience. To ensure the long-term sustainability of our platform and guarantee fair, smooth access to core features for all users, we will be optimizing the seat entitlement structure for Team and Enterprise plans. Effective January 30, 2026, these adjustments will apply once you upgrade to Pixso V2.12 The specific details are as follows:

Legacy Benefit Conversion
This upgrade involves converting the expiration dates and allocated seats for all enterprise accounts. This conversion plan brings more generous allowances to you and your company, resulting in an increase in actual usable benefits.
Validity Period
- Previous Model: Validity periods were calculated separately based on seat types.
- New Model: Validity periods will be consolidated into a unified standard.
Conversion Rule: Upon upgrade, your enterprise's expiration date will be extended to match the longest remaining duration among your current entitlements.

Legacy user seat settings were based on specific file types. The new benefit structure will convert these into new seat types based on each user's currently active configuration.
Each column in the table below represents a specific user seat scenario, mapped directly to the corresponding new seat type on the right.
Conversion Principle:
- users who have Design Seat (Editor) in the old
system will receive Creator Seat;
- users with only Whiteboard Seat will receive Collaborator Seat;
- users without any edit seats
will be converted to Viewer Seat.

To help you create and collaborate more efficiently, we have deeply integrated AI capabilities into our core modules with this update. These capabilities include:
Design File AI Assistant
Supports Text to Design, AI Auto Layout, Copywriting Suggestions, Rapid Design System Construction, Auto-generated Checklists, and Text to Image. Designed to boost both efficiency and consistency in your designs.
Whiteboard File AI Assistant
Offers capabilities such as Creative Ideation, Intelligent Flowcharting, Data Visualization Analysis, and Smart Content Generation, making brainstorming and team collaboration smoother than ever.
Credit Types & Usage
To adapt to different collaboration scenarios, we have established three independent , credit types thatcannot be used interchangeably:
- Personal Credits: For AI actions initiated in your Personal Drafts. Exclusively for your individual use.
- Team Credits: For AI actions within a Team Space. Shared among team members to facilitate group collaboration.
- Enterprise Credits: For AI actions within an Enterprise Space. Shared among enterprise members, allowing for unified resource management and allocation.

Credit Consumption Rules
All AI feature usage consumes credits based on a core principle: fair deduction based on actual usage.

Calculation Basis: Credits are deducted precisely based on the number of Tokens consumed by different AI models while processing your specific commands. (A "Token" can be understood as the basic unit of text processed by the AI).

Transparency: You can view specific credit consumption details for every AI action in your Usage History, ensuring complete transparency.

This mechanism ensures that every AI interaction delivers value, encouraging more efficient and creative usage. We hope these AI capabilities become a powerful partner in boosting your productivity.
AI Feature Access & Permissions
Since the AI Assistant modifies file content based on your commands, you must have "Edit" permission for the file to use the corresponding AI features:

In Personal Drafts: As the file owner, you can use AI features by consuming Personal Credits.

In Team Files: As a collaborator with "Edit" permission, you can use AI features by consuming Team Credits.

In Enterprise Spaces: For both your drafts and editable files within teams, you can use AI features by consuming Enterprise Credits.
How to acquire AI credits
To help you kickstart your AI creative journey, upon the launch of the new version:
1. Free Welcome Gift: We are gifting 300 Personal Credits to all registered users for free, which you can use immediately to experience various personal AI features.
2. Easy Top-up: If you need more credits, you can easily access the purchase page by clicking the credit balance area in the top-right corner of the AI Assistant interface or related usage pages. You can top up Personal, Team, or Enterprise accounts as needed.

In the past, we aimed to provide barrier-free access to help every user explore the value of our product. However, as our user base grows, we need to allocate resources more reasonably to ensure service responsiveness, data security, and continuous innovation. This adjustment helps us:
Will your existing files be affected?
No. All files created before the update becomes effective will be preserved, and you will retain full capability to view and edit them.
If your current file count exceeds the new limits, you can still access existing files normally. However, you will need to delete some files to bring the count below the limit before you can create new ones.
We still fully support your needs
The Free Plan continues to meet the majority of needs for personal learning and light usage scenarios.
We remain committed to optimizing the Free Plan experience and will introduce more inclusive initiatives in the future.
