Edit designs with Pixso AI

Select a design or layer and tell Pixso AI what to change. You can adjust its layout, text, colors, components, or visual style without starting a new design.

A useful request identifies the object, the change, and the expected result. For example: “Make the back button blue and round its corners. Leave the other buttons unchanged.”

Edit from the AI sidebar

  1. Open the design file and select AI in the left sidebar.
  2. Select the object you want to edit on the canvas.
  3. Check that the selected object appears above the conversation input.
  4. Describe the change, then send your request.

Confirm the selection before sending. If only a button needs to change, select the button rather than its entire page. State which properties should stay the same when that is important to the result.

Edit from the canvas shortcut

  1. Select an element on the canvas.
  2. Use the AI shortcut beside the selection to open the quick conversation.
  3. Enter the change you want to make and submit it.

The canvas shortcut lets you make a focused change while working beside the selected object. You can also use the AI sidebar for the same editing task.

Hide the canvas shortcut

If you do not want the AI shortcut to appear beside selected objects, open the dropdown menu at the top left of the design editor, go to user preferences, and turn off the AI shortcut. You can continue to open AI from the left sidebar.

Make focused changes

For larger designs, edit one section at a time. For example, first ask AI to improve the spacing in a navigation bar, then review that result before changing the content cards below it. A request such as “increase the spacing between these three cards while keeping their widths” provides a clearer scope than “improve this page.”

After each change, check the text, layout, and surrounding elements. Continue with a follow-up request if the result needs another adjustment.
