Organize Files with Folders

Use folders to keep related files together in My draft. A folder can contain different file types and subfolders, so you can organize work by project, client, or stage without changing the files themselves.

Create a folder or subfolder

  1. Open the Pixso workspace and select My draft in the left sidebar.
  2. Choose New folder.
  3. Enter a name and create the folder.
  4. Drag the files you want to organize into it.

To create another level of organization, open a folder's context menu and choose the option to create a subfolder. Use descriptive names so you can find the folder from workspace search later.

Move a folder

  1. Right-click the folder to open its context menu.
  2. Choose Move folder.
  3. Select the destination and confirm the move.

You can also organize supported files and folders by dragging them in the workspace. Dragging has these limits:

  • You cannot drag a folder onto a project in the left sidebar to move it between projects.
  • You cannot drag a folder directly into a nested subfolder of another folder at the same level.
  • To move a file out of a folder, open the folder first and move the file from its contents.

Find a folder

Enter the folder's name in the workspace search field. Select the matching result to open the folder and view its contents.

If you are looking for an individual design rather than its folder, see file and project operations.

Delete a folder

  1. Right-click the folder.
  2. Choose Move to recycle bin.
  3. Review the deletion confirmation before confirming.

Check the folder's contents before deleting it. If you only want a different organization, move the files or folder instead.

Restore a deleted folder

  1. Open the Recycle bin in the workspace.
  2. Find the deleted folder.
  3. Open its context menu and choose Restore.

Restoring the folder also restores the files it contains. If your account cannot restore a folder in an enterprise workspace, contact the workspace administrator or a team member with the necessary permission.
