File Cover

The file cover is used to preview the file content.

When editing files, you can keep the initial cover set by Pixso or customize the cover based on your needs.

You can preview the file cover by viewing files in the workspace or selecting the background in edit page.

1. Cover Size

The specific cover size depends on your displayer. According to the Pixso official, the recommended cover size is 1600:960.

2. Initial Cover

When creating a new file, Pixso generates the initial cover automatically. You can check it in the workspace. You can also select the page background in editing page, and then view the cover on the right side panel.

3. Automatic Cover

If you don’t set a cover after create or importing a file, Pixso will generate a thumbnail based on your last page(the last page you have accessed) and set it as the automatic cover of this file.

Pixso will follow the rule mentioned above and update the cover every time you open and close the file.

Note: Once an automatic cover is set, you can not restore it to the initial cover.

4. Custom Cover

Select a layer or the background and right click on it to customize the file cover.

Note: The custom cover will not update automatically.

5. Set a Page as Default Cover

You can right click any page background in the design file and choose Set as default cover option in the menu. After that, all elements in the current page will be cropped in the proportion of 1600:960, and a border in the same color as the page background will be generated to constitute the cover.
