Using community resources and licenses

Use a Pixso community resource according to the license and terms supplied with that resource. Check the resource page and the author’s instructions before including it in a commercial project or redistributing it.

Check the permissions for your use

  1. Open the original resource page and identify its author and license.
  2. Check whether the license permits your intended use, including commercial work, modification and redistribution.
  3. Keep any required attribution, license links and modification notices with the deliverable.
  4. Review fonts, photos, icons and other third-party material separately; their terms may differ from the surrounding design file.

Resources explicitly licensed under CC BY 4.0

For a resource explicitly offered under CC BY 4.0, follow the license terms, including appropriate credit, a license link and an indication of changes. Do not imply that the original author endorses your product.

An attribution can identify the work, author, original URL, license and changes you made. Place it where the recipient can find it, such as the asset documentation or delivery notes.

If the license is missing or unclear

Ask the author or rights holder for permission covering the intended use. Retain the resource URL and written permission. Use an alternative with clear rights while permission is unresolved.
