Supported devices and browser requirements
Pixso runs in a web browser on Windows, macOS and Linux. Chrome, Safari and Microsoft Edge are supported browsers. Desktop apps for Windows and macOS are available from the Pixso download page.
Choose a device and sign in
Use a computer for detailed layer, component and prototype editing. Sign in with the same Pixso account on each device, then select the team or space that contains the file. If a file appears to be missing, check the account and selected space before creating another account.
Local fonts must also be installed on each computer where you edit text. In a browser, run the Font Assistant as described in Use local fonts.
Does Pixso work offline?
Online editing and collaboration require a network connection. An exported image or PDF can be opened offline, but it does not provide the editable cloud file or live collaboration.
If the connection drops while you are editing, keep the file open and check its save or sync status. Restore the connection and wait for synchronization before closing the tab, signing out or clearing browser data. A historical version can only contain changes that reached the service.
Troubleshoot the browser
- Update the browser and confirm that other websites are reachable.
- Check whether the problem affects one Pixso file or all files.
- For canvas rendering problems, check graphics acceleration.
- If the problem continues, provide your operating system, browser version, file link and error message to Pixso support.
