Zone 1 - File Management and Settings

A. Back button: click the button and you can go back to Pixso workspace

B. File management - rename and permission prompt: this part contains the file name/rename and the file permission prompt.If you have the editor permission of a file, then you can click the file name to rename it.

C. File management - export file: Pixso supports exporting PNG, JPG, PDF and SVG files, and you can set 3 resolution ratios(@100%, @200%, @300%), 3 background colors(current grid, transparent, white) and 3 exported areas(frame, selected area and all areas).

You can export what you want by following steps below:

  • Export partial content: On the canvas, select the area you want to export and click Export. Then choose the format, resolution and background. Make sure that you choose to export the selected area and confirm your action.
  • Export all content: Click Export directly and choose the format, resolution and background one by one. Make sure that you choose to export all areas.
  • Export PDF: You can only export PDF after applying frames on the canvas.

Note: Though the whiteboard canvas is infinite, Pixso now only supports exporting images with

3000W pixel, 15000 pixel per side at most. Therefore, there may be cases where the canvas is too large and the content of the export area is not fully displayed.

D. File management - view version history: If you need to restore the previous file version, then you can go to Version history and restore the one you want or copy the previous version to create a new file. All the file versions will be saved automatically, and you can also save them manually.

E. File management - search file: Pixso Whiteboard supports searching various elements on the canvas, such as text, shape, sticky notes, mind map, table, frame, image and file. You can search and locate the area you want to view.

F. File management - autosave: Pixso saves your file automatically to the cloud in real time. It also provides a private deployment service for data safety.

Tips: You don't need to worry about the safety of cloud storage as this is a future trend. With the increase of user base, the cloud service supplier will be motivated to improve its safety and steadiness.
