SVG is a lossless format, and we recommend that you import and export SVG files.
You can import vectors in several different ways:
- Import the entire Sketch or Pixso file that contains vectors.
- Export vectors as SVG and import them into Pixso.
3. Import File

3.3 Import Axure File
To import the Axure file is to create a new project for the HTML file in Axure. Then import the project into Pixso and continue editing.
It should be noted that the HTML file needs to be compressed to .zip format and can not be encrypted.
Steps:
1. Click Publish > Generate HTML Files in Axure.
2. It is recommended to create a blank file folder and select it as the export location. Next, choose Publish Locally.
3. Compress the folder (not the HTML file) to .zip format. Remember not to encrypt it.
4. Open Pixso and choose Import file > Axure. Then select the .zip file to complete the process.
3.4 Import Figma File
Currently, Pixso supports two methods to import Figma files. You can choose any one according to the actual situation:
Method 1. Download the Figma file locally and upload it to Pixso.
Method 2. Copy the file link and paste it in the URL import box of Pixso.
The second method will be affected by the internet. That's why we recommend the first one more.
Method 1. Import Local Figma File
1. Export the file to local in Figma.
2. Locate the Import file option in the Pixso workspace.
3. Select the Figma (.fig) and import the file separately or in batch.
4. After the import finishes, you can choose to upload other files or open the imported file directly.
You can also drag the Figma file directly to the workspace and finish the import.
Method 2. Import Figma File via Link
1. Get the file link from the address bar, the share popup or the file entry.
Note: The private file link is not supported by Pixso. That's to say, you need to set the access permission of the file as Anyone with the link.
2. Locate the Import file option on the Pixso workspace.
3. Select Figma (.fig) > URL import.
4. Before importing, you need to click Go for authorization. Then log into your Figma account and choose Allow access.
5. Finally, paste the file link into the box and click Import. When the process finishes, you can view and edit the file in Pixso workspace.
Check an imported file
- Keep a backup of the original file and any component libraries it depends on.
- Open the imported file and compare pages, layer order, text, images and effects with the original.
- Install missing font families and weights, then check line wrapping and layout.
- For shared libraries, follow the component library migration guide and verify main-component and instance relationships.
- Test prototype connections and invite collaborators after the file has been checked.
If an import fails or looks different
Confirm that the selected file is in a supported source format and can still open in its original application. Preserve the error message and note whether the problem affects one file or several. Large files can be investigated with a smaller representative file containing the affected content. Send confidential files only through an approved support channel.
Features supplied by another product’s plugins may require a corresponding Pixso workflow. An imported file should be checked before replacing the source in an active project.
