Zone 2 - Paintbrush/Erase

Use the paintbrush to draw lines, make annotations, sketches and graphics. This is a fun way to add doodles to the canvas and thus draw people's attention to important things. If you accidentally draw or make a mistake, use the eraser tool or press the Delete key to remove it.

Generally, you can use the paintbrush and eraser to:

  • Take notes and highlight key points in Pixso Whiteboard.
  • Make real-time annotations during various meetings.
  • Create the world's greatest masterpieces with your team.

Create Doodle with Paintbrush Tool

To draw something using the paintbrush tool:

  • Click the Paintbrush tool in the toolbar or press P.
  • Choose a color, as well as a thin or thick stroke weight. You can change these settings at any time after creating your doodle.
  • Click and drag on the canvas to doodle, and you can also hold down Shift to draw a straight line.
  • To exit the paintbrush state: Select another tool or press Esc.

Change Brush Color and Width

You can change the color and width (or stroke thickness) of the doodle created by the brush at any time.

  • Activate the move tool by pressing V, then select the doodle on the board.
  • Click the colorpicker to change the color or click to change the stroke weight.
  • Adjust the size of the doodle by dragging the edges or corners of the doodle bounding box. Straight line doodles can only be resized vertically, while other doodles will be resized proportionally.

Delete Doodle

  • Select the doodle that you want to delete.
  • Press Delete or Backspace.

You can also use the eraser/clear tool to remove the pen strokes from the canvas, without deleting other elements.
