Prototype Interaction Flow

A flow refers to interactive event connections between multiple frames. The flow starts from frame A and ends at frame B, which constitutes a complete flow.

1. Create Interaction Flow

When you create the interactive event, Pixso will create an interaction flow on the top left corner of the original frame.

1. Create Interaction Flow in Pixso

You can also switch to the Prototype panel, select a frame and click the + sign to add the interaction flow.

3. Use Interaction Flow in Pixso

Locate: Click it to locate the frame under the current flow.

Play: Click it to play interactive events of the current flow.

Tip: You can also play the interactive event on the top left corner.

Describe what a flow demonstrates

Add a description beside the flow to explain the journey it starts, such as signing in or completing a purchase. A single starting frame can lead into more than one interaction path; a flow identifies where the demonstration begins.

Manage a flow's starting point

In prototype mode, select a frame and use + in the right-hand panel to add a flow. Pixso can also create a flow on the starting frame when you first connect an interaction.

To remove the flow, drag its starting-point label away from the frame until it is no longer attached.

Locate, share, or play a flow

  • Locate: use the flow list in the Prototype panel to find its starting frame on the canvas.
  • Share: copy a presentation link for the people reviewing the journey.
  • Play: use the flow's play control in the list or on the frame's starting-point label.

Test the shared presentation from the intended starting point. For playback controls and switching between flows, see Prototype Playback.
