Connect Pixso to an AI agent with MCP

Pixso MCP connects compatible AI agents to design files, layer structure and design tools. Choose Remote MCP for cloud access or Local MCP when working with an open desktop file and its current selection.

Connect with Remote MCP

  1. In an agent that supports Streamable HTTP, add https://pixso.net/mcp as the server URL.
  2. Complete OAuth authorization with the Pixso account that can access the target file.
  3. Copy the target layer or frame link from Pixso and include it in the task.

Remote MCP does not require the Pixso desktop app to remain open. Private-deployment users use their environment’s service address and coordinate activation with their account manager.

Connect with Local MCP

  1. Install and sign in to Pixso desktop version 2.2.0 or later.
  2. Open the target design file and enable MCP from the configuration entry at the top left.
  3. Copy the service address displayed in the client into the agent’s Streamable HTTP settings.
  4. Keep Pixso open and the target file tab active. Select the target layer when the request depends on the current selection.

The usual local address is http://127.0.0.1:3667/mcp, but the active port can differ. Use the displayed address.

Access and complete configuration

MCP follows the authorized account’s file permissions. Write operations require editing access; individual tools may also require an appropriate seat. Full connection instructions and tool references are available in the English MCP developer documentation.
